“Modern Tendencies in Regional Cooperation: the Ukrainian-Romanian-Moldovan Dimension.”

The Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences within Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași cordially invites Romanian and international students to participate in the conference The Future of the European Union, an academic event dedicated to fostering scholarly reflection on young people’s perspectives regarding the future evolution of the European project.
The conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary framework for academic dialogue in which students may critically examine and discuss the contemporary challenges and prospective directions of European integration. In this context, participants are encouraged to contribute scientific papers offering critical, analytical, or comparative perspectives on the political, economic, and social processes shaping the future of the European Union.
The conference further seeks to facilitate the exchange of academic ideas and intercultural experiences among students originating from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
Submitted papers may address, but are not limited to, the following thematic areas:
• the future of the European integration process;
• the geopolitical challenges facing the European Union;
• democracy and the rule of law within the European Union;
• EU enlargement policy and neighbourhood relations;
• youth participation in European political life;
• European identity and European values;
• economic and social transformations within the European space.
Paper proposals (including the title, abstract, and four keywords) should be submitted no later than Wednesday, 13 May, at 16:00, to the following email address: elena.vranceanu@uaic.ro
The conference will be conducted in English and will include student academic presentations followed by debate sessions in person and online.
